Your first question may be how or why does a discussion on Discernment, with all its heavy spiritual overtones, end up In the Workplace. Well, the simple answer is that’s where a vast majority of our daily decisions are made Monday through Friday. And the notion that Discernment should be limited to a ministry setting – well, I just don’t think that premise is sound. In fact, how you practice and model Discernment will help you better coach and encourage workmates, empower project team members to be problem solvers and innovators, and improve the overall decision making effectiveness of your work team. Said another way, there’s nothing in our ‘ministry call’ to the workplace that should frustrate how we deploy biblically-based Discernment Principles and truth.
